Having seen MALA BEADS worn in many places around the world I have been inspired to create them as well. They were first introduced over 3000 years ago in India and have roots in Hinduism and Buddhism. The term ‘MALA’ is a Sanskrit work for ‘meditation garland’, and these beads were used for a special type of meditation where a mantra would be repeated 108 times.

Although I may not use my MALA for religious meditation, I truly believe that the beads are more than just an accessory. They encourage us to pause, breathe and realign ourselves with our deepest intentions. They motivate us to invest in moments of self-care and compassion. They are our physical, spiritual forget-me-nots.

My one-of-a-kind MALA necklaces are all made with semi-precious stones from around the world and I string the beads with 100% natural silk thread. Semi-precious stones have healing qualities and for thousands of years ancient civilizations have utilized the power from the stones and their energies.
